am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mount Union College and advanced training in Imaginal Psychology and Spiritual Guidance. I have also been a supervisor and facilitator of extended wilderness programs for troubled youth, an Instructor of Psychology to college students, and a yoga instructor.
For over 20 years, I have been helping clients learn to better manage their anxiety and stress, feel more connected in their personal and work relationships, heal from past trauma, mindfully navigate life’s many stages and transitions, and help guide those in spiritual crisis. I work extensively with couples, and enjoy helping them learn to communicate so they feel heard and understood, rekindle their connection that may be lost, and help them regain trust and intimacy if needed.

I draw on various approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Imaginal, Jungian, Humanistic, Somatic psychologies, wisdom traditions, as well as the Collaborative Couples Therapy approach by Dr. Dan Wile and the Bader-Pearson Developmental Model of Couples Therapy.
I offer empathic support coupled with practical skills to help my clients heal and resolve the things that are getting in the way of them living their lives with joy, contentment and authenticity.
