Arunima Sharma
MA, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Arunima Sharma is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hakomi, Gestalt, and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). She blends a variety of these modalities into her work with couples, individuals and families struggling with issues including: depression, anxiety, addictions, eating disorders, trauma, grief, intimacy and sexuality, and existential inquiry.
Shaman Ishak
MSW, REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER
- Shaman Ishak has spent over two decades helping people facing challenging life situations. Shaman has extensive experience working in the areas of couples therapy, depression, anxiety and trauma. Shaman uses a holistic, person-centered approach to help people identify the layers of “unwellness” that may exist within their social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Julia Selznick
MSW, REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER
- Julia has over a decade of inpatient and outpatient hospital experience working with clients with eating disorders, and is highly qualified to support clients and their loved ones on their recovery journey. She also has extensive training in family therapy, anxiety and depression, and her informed approach combined with her warm and compassionate style helps clients learn coping skills to decrease undesirable behaviours and increase meaning and joy in their lives.
Karen Dixon
MSW, REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER
- Karen has 14 years of inpatient and outpatient hospital experience working with clients with eating disorders. She understands how eating disorders can affect caregivers and families, and inversely how families can affect individuals with eating disorders. Karen's extensive training in family therapy practices are very effective at helping the entire family navigate what is often a very stressful and challenging time for all.
Stephanie Slater
MA, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Stephanie provides a warm and welcoming therapeutic environment in which she helps individuals overcome challenges and gain self-awareness in the areas of relationships, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, grief and trauma. She is trained in several advanced therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Homa Papaie
MCP, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Homa Papei is very skilled at helping children, families and couples navigate family challenges, including childhood fear and anxiety, parenting and overcoming depression. Additional areas of expertise include: disordered eating, relationships, sleep disruption, trauma, injury recovery, chronic pain, anger management and supporting women in abusive relationships. She offers counselling in English, Farsi and Turkish.
VANESSA KEIPERT
MA, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Vanessa has been providing successful therapeutic interventions for almost a decade, helping individuals and couples with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, substance use, loneliness, emotional eating and self esteem. She believe in helping people uncover their innate potential for growl and offers a safe, trusting and non-judgemental space to work through issues and achieve therapeutic goals. She draws on many modalities, including: CBT, REBT, mindfulness and DBT.
CHLOE MONTCLAIRE
MSW, THERAPIST
- Chloe is a therapist with over 20 years of experience, and has extensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. She is very skilled at working with couples and helping them get out of the negative cycles that may be perpetuating, and move towards more emotional and sexual intimacy.
SUSAN HIGGS
MCP, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Susan works with individuals navigating life transitions or experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships issues and parenting challenges. She uses a strength-based approach and has a warm and collaborative style. Susan brings a diversity of life experience to her counselling sessions, including a former career in finance and the corporate world.
SHELLEY FOSTER
MCP, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Shelley has over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist. She is committed to connecting with each client quickly to help them achieve what they are coming to therapy to accomplish, and make sure every session is productive and useful. She works with individuals, couples, families and youth to help them with: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, eating disorders, parenting and conflictual relationships.
Monique Wong
MCP, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
- Monique holds a Master’s degree in Trauma Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has counselled clients in both Asia and Canada for many years, in the ares of: life transitions, stress management, anxiety and panic, career and academic exploration, parenting, grief and loss, relationships and self care. She is committed to helping clients get unstuck from their patterns and get moving in a positive direction in all facets of their lives.
